Jeni Erker
Doctor of Nursing
Certified Nurse Practitioner
Jennifer Erker DNP, APRN-C is an independent Nurse Practitioner who is providing personalized health care in Goddard. Through the Direct Patient Care model, she is able to cultivate relationships with her member’s on their wellness goals without the constraints of insurance companies. Jeni is passionate about caring for you and keeping open communication. Over the last 20 years, Jeni has continued to strive for knowledge and improving care for patients. Recognized as one of America’s Top Nurses in 2021 by Today’s Nurse National Organization.
Jeni was called at a young age into nursing. Starting as a Nurse Aid at 16, she cared for her grandparents, worked in the long-term care home in Pratt, Kansas while pursuing her nursing degree. Jeni completed her Associates of Science in Nursing (Registered Nurse) and Associates in General Studies in 2007. While working as an RN, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Jeni has experience from Wesley Trauma Center, skilled and long-term care, home health nursing and Director of Nursing in Assisted Living. She wanted to be able to change how others are cared for and she returned to Graduate School at Wichita State University earning her Doctorate Degree in 2018. She is a nationally certified Family Nurse Practitioner with certifications in ACLS, ATLS, and Aesthetics. After graduation, Jeni began working in Haysville as an APRN, establishing herself as a nationally ranked professional. Now, Jeni practices in her hometown of Goddard where owns Erker Clinic.
When she is not busy being a wife and “Baseball Mom” of Ethan (10) and Blake (8), she enjoys crafting, the occasional hunting adventure and being with family and friends by fire side.
Jennifer Frerichs
Family Nurse Practitioner
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
Jennifer Frerichs, FNP, APRN-BC has been in the nursing field for over 26 years. She is excited to be providing personalized health care in Goddard as the newest member of the team at Erker Clinic. She loves developing relationships with her clients to foster an open line of communication and respect, leading to more personalized care for the client.
Jennifer graduated from Wichita State University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1997. She began her nursing career working as an RN in Labor and Delivery and NICU. She had a desire to further her expertise in this field and became certified in High-Risk Obstetrics and for many years served on the OB transport team through Via Christi.
Family is very important to Jennifer, and she stayed home while her children were younger. As her children grew older, she missed her passion. Jennifer returned to work as an RN in Hospice, Pre-op ambulatory surgery, Post op surgery, and Plastic Surgery. She decided to return to school to advance her degree so she would be able to care for her patients in a different aspect.
Jennifer received her Masters in Nursing, Family Practice Nurse Practitioner in 2015 from Maryville University in St. Louis, MO. She is a nationally Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a member of Sigma Theta Tau and AANP. After graduation, she joined a dermatology practice in Wichita as an APRN. There she became certified in the art of Aesthetics. Jennifer also has experience in caring for patients working for mobile medical practice services and long-term care facilities for those that are not physically able to leave and go to a clinic setting. In 2020, Jennifer started her own Aesthetics business. Today, she is proud to be practicing in Goddard Kansas at the Erker Clinic.
Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family. Any chance she gets, you will find her at the lake or traveling with her husband.
Tiffany Turner
Registered Medical Assistant
Tiffany Turner is a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) who works with patients to provide a comfortable and enjoyable healthcare experience while seeking expert medical attention. Tiffany believes that each patient is unique, so their care and treatment should be unique as well. Over the last 8 years, Tiffany has garnered the respect of her doctors, supervisors, coworkers, patients, and community by providing exceptional care to a wide range of healthcare needs.
Tiffany was motivated to join the healthcare field because she loves helping people and being and working in a family practice setting means there’s never a dull moment. Essentially, no day of work is the same as the last. Tiffany holds multiple certifications from Heritage College in Wichita Kansas. After graduation in 2016, she began working at Haysville Family MedCenters (HFMC) until 2022. When She decided to take a short break from the working world and spend the summer at home with her kids. After Jeni Erker left HFMC and opened Erker Clinic, Tiffany was more than happy to follow.
In her spare time, Tiffany can be found at home spending time with her husband, Billy, and her two sons, Tate and Jett. Most of her time is spent in pure survival mode because she is outnumbered in a house full of wild boys. On a typical day, bedtime cannot come soon enough because it’s the only time Tiffany can relax and decompress from the day. It’s been rumored that her bed might be her favorite place in the whole world.
Megan Almire
Certified Medical Assistant
Megan Almire is a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) who has over twenty years of experience and with her expertise in phlebotomy. Megan sees every patient as an individual with their own story and treats them as such. She has known from a young age she wanted to care for others and after graduating from high school in Goddard, she went on to complete her training through Wichita Area Technical College. With most of her experience in her profession being at family practice office, which is where she met Jeni Erker at Haysville Family Med Center. When she left the med center, she assisted in opening the Textron Health Center and then onto Goddard, to Erker Clinic.
Megan has been married to her husband, Chris, for 17 years and they have 2 sons, Carsen and Conner. With the theme at Erker Clinic being another strong woman outnumbered by the men in the household. She is a basketball and soccer mom. While she is a homebody at heart, she really enjoys traveling and has visited Mexico and Jamaica, which is her favorite.
Diesel Erker
Certified Office Dog
Diesel is a pure breed black lab. He joined the family in 2016 as a little pup. His career has been mainly water fowl retrieval. As he gets closer to his retirement years, he is assisting his dog mom at the clinic as the door greeter. He brings smiles to all who come to the clinic and can be calming presence in lab for those who hate needles. When he is not working hard in the office, he enjoys chasing baseballs and kids around the yard and napping, lots of napping.
